Catherine was born in Danvers, MA to Nicholas and Athena Polydores. She married the love of her life, Allen L. Meyers on April 30, 1960. In 1964 they moved to Seattle where they raised their three children.

Catherine loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Over the years she also enjoyed bowling and painting ceramics with her friends.
