Mildred Rogers Randle Brunner, 101 and 9 months, died at her daughter's home on Thursday, June 12, 2014 following a brief illness. She was the widow of Peyton Randle and John Brunner.

Mrs. Brunner was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Ellen Rogers, her four siblings and by her daughter, Shirley Austin Duffer and great-granddaughter, Audrey Austin.

She is survived by her daughter, Grace Randle Atchley; grandchildren, Sheri Houart (Stuart), Robert Austin (Pam), Cindy Forsythe (Ken), and Tim Atchley; eight great- grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren, five nieces and one nephew. She also leaves her very special friends Glen, Robert and Emily Davis who she loved as family.

Mrs. Brunner was born in West, MS on September 14, 1912. She lived in Mississippi until 1952 when the family moved to Memphis where she was employed by the government in civil service. She was also a member of Bartlett Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN with the interment to be held at Vaiden Cemetery, Vaiden, MS.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that remembrances be made to Trinity Hospice or the charity of your choice .
