Coweta Co. Chronicles page 733-4. He was a Captain. His picture is on page 733. In the 7th Ga. Reg. CSA in the beginning of the war as a Captain. Their children were very patriotic. They have many relics in 1920's, such as a horn cup carried by General Wynne in the Indian Wars.

My grandmother told me that when she was first married in 1901 that she and her husband, Percy Manson Smith, would go to his first cousin's house, Obediah, to parties and dances at his house.
