John Zevenbergen,71, of 2110 63rd Avenue East, Tacoma, died on a Thursday, February, 1980. He was born in Holland and came through Ellis Island to the United States, with his parents, brother and sisters in 1920. He had lived in the local area for more than 50 years at the time of his death.

Mr. Zevenbergen was a retired machinist and a member of the Fife Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife Louise M.; three brothers, Marion Zevenbergen of Seattle, Tony Zevenbergen Of Trout Lake and Leonard Zevenbergen of Tacoma; three sisters, Mrs. Elmer (Jennie) Poehler Of Sumner, Washington, Mrs. Tom (Ann) Hollis of Anchorage, Alaska, and Mrs. Floyd (Susan) Ren of Everett, Washington; and three grandchildren.

Morley-Mellinger Funeral Home are in Charge of the arrangements. Burial is in Mountain View Cemetery.
