Martin Zywicki, 70, who died Saturday morning at his farm in the Town of Alban, was a lifelong resident of Portage County. Born in the Town of Sharon on January 15, 1889, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Zywicki. He was married November 6, 1912, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Polonia to Mrs. Apolonia Betker Spitza. Since then the couple had lived on the present family farm in Alban. Mr. Zywicki was a member of the Men's Rosary Society of St. Adalbert's Catholic Church, Alban.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Felix, Town of Stockton, and Charles, at home; three daughters, Mrs. Stanley (Zephrene) Wiza, Sharon, Mrs. Tillie Pecki, Cadott, and Mrs. Ben (Gertrude) Woyach, Milwaukee; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Joseph (Victoria) Garski, 249 Wood Street, and Mrs. Nick (Dorthy), Rozek, Milwaukee; three stepsons, Edward and Leo Spitza, Milwaukee, and Peter Spitza, Ahsahka, Idaho; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, Peter and Joseph Zywicki, Chicago, and two sisters, Mrs. John Bednarski, Rothschild, and Mrs. Frank Fliss, Wausau. Three brothers, two sisters and a daughter preceeded him in death.
The funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Adalbert's Church, with burial in the parish cemetary. The rosary will be said at the Dzikoski Funeral Home tonite at 8 o'clock.
