Abigail was Amos Barnes' second wife. They married at Middletown, on May 2, 1771. Their marriage produced two daugthters, Rhoda (b. 1772) and Abigail (b. 1775). Both girls were raised in Middletown, and they married there as well. Rhoda married Remembrance-Simmons Keeney on Nov. 1, 1795, and Abigail married Capt. Lathrop Lee on Feb. 23, 1797.
Amos Barnes died in 1814. Abigail spent the last two years of her life surrounded by her daughters families. She died at the age of 81, on September 26, 1816. Capt. Lathrop and Abigail Lee are also buried in Old Farm Hill cemetery.
