Funeral services were conducted at Nick and Sons funeral home, Monday afternoon at two o'clock, for the late Mrs. Frank Cady, who died at her home in Harrison last Thursday. Rev. W.V. Waltman officiated at the services. Interment was made in Greenwood cemetery. The pallbearers were Peter Dirks, Con Winker, Wm. Kaatz, Richard Haring, Con Voermans of Harrison and W.W. Ostrander of this city. Mrs. Cady, nee Sarah Vanaman, was born in 1855 in White County, Ind. In 1872 she was united in marriage to John R. Grandstaff who preceded her in death in 1912. In June, 1918, she married Frank Cady, and has been a resident of Harrison for 25 years. Surviving her are her husband; six children, who are, Mrs. Ira Blacker of Harrison, Mrs. Oma Barclay of Lafayette, Ind., Mrs. Wm. Bronson, Ernest and Donald Grandstaff all of California, and Henry Grandstaff of Fort Wayne, Ind., a step-son, William H. Cady, Harrison; 17 grand children; 16 great grand children and four great great grand children. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. E.C. Boller, in Idaville, Ind., and a brother, George Vanaman, Roger, Ark. Attending the funeral from out of the city were, Mrs. Merle Mitchell of East Gary, Ind., Mrs. Corwin Wiles, Gary, Ind., and George Vanaman of Roger, Ark.

We wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who offered sympathy and assistance at the time of our recent bereavement, the death of our beloved wife, mother and sister, Mrs. Frank Cady. We desire to thank particularly Rev. Minnie Cliff, Rev. W.V. Waltman, the pallbearers, Nick and Sons, Mrs. G. M. Sheldon Gordon Mitchell, the Richard Haring family, donors of cars and flowers and all who in any way assisted at this time.
