Julia Poole Wade, 89, of Lynchburg passed away peacefully at home, Thursday, November 03, 2011. She was the wife of the late Waddie Almond Wade, Jr.
Born in Lynchburg, April 30, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Thomas A. Poole, Jr. and Earnestine Blanks Poole.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Cecil R. Poole, Thomas A. Poole, III and Hugh P. Poole and three sisters, Louise P. Whitten, Glenna P. Weber and Helen P. Morgan.
She is survived by eight nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m., Saturday, November 5, 2011, at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
