FOR MRS. BRITT
Mrs. Sarah Britt, 57, of 102 Clinton Ave., died yesterday at Tompkins County Hospital.
She was born June 23, 1910 in Cortland, the daughter of Alex and Sofia Shostak Romanko.
Surviving are her husband, Alex Britt; a step-mother, Mrs. Anna Kostenko of Cortland; two daughters, Mrs. Nancy Scudamore of Parsippany, N.J.; Miss Judith Britt of Cortland; a son, Peter Britt, also of Cortland; one brother, Richard Romanko of Idaho and a stepbrother, John Barnick of Ovid.
Mrs. Britt was formerly employed by the Crescent Corset Company.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. from Grace Episcopal Church. Interment will be in Cortland Rural Cemetery.
Friends may call Sunday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the McEvoy Funeral Home, Cortland.
