Kathryn A. ""Kitty"" Leonhard, age 38, of 1304 Hawthorne Ave., Two Rivers, died Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 15, 2004, after an extended illness, at Aurora BayCare Medical Center, Green Bay. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Parish, Holy Redeemer Site, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. William G. O'Brien with burial to follow at Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Highway 310, Manitowoc. Kathryn was born Oct. 17, 1965, in Two Rivers, daughter of Clemens Leonhard and the late Myra L. Loessl Leonhard. She attended Two Rivers Catholic Central School and graduated from Two Rivers Washington High School with the class of 1984. Kitty continued her education at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Green Bay, earning an associate's degree in accounting. She was employed in the accounting department at the Inn on Maritime Bay, Manitowoc, until her illness forced her to retire. Kitty was a member of the Monday Night Rosary Group, TOPS, and played dartball with various local teams. Survivors include her father: Clem Leonhard, Two Rivers; one sister and brother-in-law: Mary and Jeff Gehler, Two Rivers; four brothers and two sisters-in-law: Mark and Diane Leonhard, Manitowoc; James Leonhard and Thomas Leonhard, both of Two Rivers; Paul and Shelly Leonhard, Valders; 11 nieces and nephews; special close friends: Frank Ciha, Dan Kupsch and Catherine Livingston; and a number oison, Andrew, Alex, Stephanie, Dylan, Haley, and Nathan Leonhard. She is further survived by one sister: Jeanette Diedrich, Kiel; one brother: Nicholas Loessl, Sheboygan; two brothers-in-law, and five sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Bernice Herzog. Friends may call at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Holy Redeemer Site, after 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday until the time of Mass at 11 a.m. There will be no Monday evening visitation. Memorials may be made to St. Peter the Fisherman Parish Building Fund. Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers is assisting the Leonhard family with funeral arrangements. The Leonhard family extends a sincere thank you to Dr.Yetter, Dr. Barylak, and the staff of the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic for the care and kindness shown to our family. Also, special thanks to the staff of the Hamilton Memorial Home for the excellent care extended to Myra over her short time there. Your kindness will always be remembered.
