Funeral services for M. Berniece Hansel [sic, recte Hensel], 90, of Sheboygan, Wis., and formerly of West Chicago, will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, at the Norris-Walen Funeral Home, 132 Fremont Street, West Chicago. The Reverend David Haley will officiate.

Born April 9, 1907, to Louis and Augusta (Zahn) Hensel, in West Chicago, she passed away Thursday, Feb. 19, 1998, at St. Nichols Hospital in Sheboygan, Wis. Burial will be in Glen Oak Cemetery, West Chicago.

She had resided in West Chicago until she retired in the early 1980's.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of West Chicago. She graduated from West Chicago High School in 1925. Mrs. Hensel was employed by Wayland Dayton Insurance Company of West Chicago and also the Covey Insurance Company of West Chicago until she retired.

She is survived by three sisters, Grace Woodward of Sheboygan, Wis., Mabel Veronda of Joliet, and Marian (Robert) Benson of Oostburg, Wis.; her sister-in-law, Maryo Hensel of Belleville, Ill.; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Monday until the time of the funeral services at 11 a.m.
