Mrs. Marie Tadych, 58, of 3914 Deta St., Manitowoc, died Thursday at her residence.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 a.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 11 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Philip Hoffman will officiate with burial in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town of Kossuth.
Mrs. Tadych, nee Marie Close, was born Sept. 2, 1918, at Mattoon, Wis., daughter of the late George and Rose Strasser Close. She was graduated from Lincoln High Schol, Manitowoc, with the Class of 1937. She was married to Paul C. Tadych Sr. Feb. 8, 1938, at Manitowoc. He preceded her in death May 11, 1973. Mrs. Tadych had been employed at Lapcor Plastics Inc. of Manitowoc and was a member of Eagles Aerie 760 Auxiliary.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Marilyn Tadych of Rt. 1, Cedar Grove, Wis.; a daughter and son-in-law, Richard and Rosemarie Grajek, of Rt. 1, Manitowoc; two brothers, Alfred and George Close, and a sister, Mrs. Arthur (Agnes) Nichols, of Manitowoc, and three grandchildren, Susan, Shelly and Tony Grajek. A sister, Evelyn and a brother, Louis, preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday, where a prayer service will be at 8 p.m.
