Alfred A. Wollersheim, 60, of 1218 S. 35th St., Manitowoc, died Monday evening at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am Thursday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 am at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. A nephew, the Rev. Leon Wollersheim, will officiate with burial in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town of Kossuth.
Mr. Wollersheim was born Sept. 5, 1914, at Sheboygan, son of the late William Wollersheim and Mrs. Emily Kaltenbrum Wollersheim. He was a veteran of World War II, serving as a corporal in the U.S. Army. He married Luetta S. Mathes Sept. 27, 1947 at Kiel. They moved to Manitowoc after their marriage, residing at Manitowoc since. He was a custodian of First National Bank in Manitowoc.
Survivors include his wife, a son, Tom, and three daughters, Judy, Mrs. Mark (Lois) Maticek and patty of Milwaukee; his mother, Mrs. Emily Wollersheim of New Holstein and two brothers, Arnold of Manitowoc and Erwin of Kiel.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4 to 9 pm Wednesday, where a memorial service will be at 8 pm.
