John married Charlotte T. Boon on the 11th of October, 1807 at Hadlyme. They were blessed with nine children. She was born on the 7th of October 1786 at Hadlyme and passed away on the 30th of January, 1863. Her parents were Henry Boon [ 1760 - 1800 ] and Rebecca Smith [ 1756 - 1820 ]
