Louis E. Ball was born Jan. 31, 1913 in Elmore City, Oklahoma. Louis farmed his entire life. He was a member of Forrest United Methodist Church and taught the Friendship Sunday School class.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Aleen Ball of Lubbock; a son, James Ball of Lubbock; 2 daughters, June Atterbury of El Paso and Carolyn Bordon of Lubbock; 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruth Pierce in 1973 and a granddaughter, Robin Borden in 1979. Louis was also preceded in death by 6 brothers and 7 sisters.
Burial will follow the service at 3 p.m. in the Olton Cemetery.
Mr. Ball died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2004 at the age of 91 in Lubbock,TX.
