Mrs. Ruby M. Dudley, of Olton, former resident of Amarillo, died at 12:50 a.m. today in the Olton Memorial Hospital.
She had been an invalid since suffering a stroke about three years ago.
Mrs. Dudley, a sister of Mrs. Dora Muse of Amarillo, lived in Amarillo from 1943 until three years ago, and was employed for several years in the circulation department of the former Amarillo Times.
She was born April 8, 191, in Elmore City, Okla., and moved to Olton with her parents from Lindsay, Okla., in December, 1928.
She was graduated from Olton High School in 1929 and attended West Texas State College for two years.
She later taught school at Lela for two years.
Mrs. Dudley died library and social work in the county courthouse at Olton for several years, until becoming a technical instruction at the Amarillo Army Air Field in 1943.
She was a member of Avondale Baptist Church in Amarillo.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the First Baptist Church at Olton, with burial in the Olton cemetery under direction of Lemons Funeral Home at Plainview.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers and nieces will be flower girls.
Mrs. Dudley is survived by a daughter, Joan Dudley, and her mother, Mrs. R.G. Ball, both of Olton; six brothers, Bob Ball, D.H. Ball and Louis Ball of Olton, Jody Ball of Elmore City, the Rev.
