Per her death certificate found on Ancestry.com: she was a daughter of J. H. Pearson and Ellen Wallace, both born in S. C. She was a widow at the time of her death and her spouse is not named. She died at 906 Greene St of nephritis and chronic uremia. The informant was M Lee of the same address.

She can be found on the 1870 US Census for Columbia, Richland, SC at age 15, enumerated as Fannie, living with Ellen, 50, Sallie, 20, Mary, 17, and John, 14. She was born in S. C.

Found in The State 06 April 1923: Mrs. Frances Pearson Lee, widow of the late Emmor Hunt Lee, died at 2:45 o'clock yesterday afternoon at 906 Queen street, Shandon. Mrs. Lee was a native of Columbia. She was 67 years of age and a woman of high Christian character. She was sweet natured and lovable and numbered her friends by the score. Mrs. Lee is survived by three sons and one daughter, Francis Wallace Lee, Walter Fisher Lee and Mrs. W. T. Reckling of Columbia and John Pearson Lee of Atlanta; also one sister and one brother, Mrs. A. C. Jackson and John H. Pearson of Easton, Pa.
Found in The State 07 April 1923: Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Pearson Lee, who died Thursday afternoon at 906 Queen street, Shandon, will be held this morning at 10:30 o'clock at St. John's Episcopal church in Shandon. The Rev. G. Croft Williams, rector will conduct the services. Interment will take place in Elmwood cemetery.
