Melissa Hilmus Sanders Johnson, age 54, died Saturday November 16, 2013 at the Crystal Health and Rehab Center in Greenwood, MS from cancer. She was the daughter of the late Al Hilmus and of Barbara Denton Hilmus. She resided in the delta all of her life. She was preceded in death by her father and three brothers. She is survived by her son, Chase Sanders of Greenwood, her daughter, Alyssa Haley of Clarksville, TN., her mother, Barbara Hilmus of Greenwood, her brother, Denny Hilmus of Greenwood, her sister, Barbara Hilmus Grantham of North Carrollton, MS and five grandchildren.
Family services will be held at a later date. Williams & Lord Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
