Ellen was the daughter of Howard & Ethel (nee Sprague) Wilson. She married David Rotramel on August 16, 1936, in West Liberty, Illinois. They had 2 children: Carolyn White Knapp (Roger Knapp) and Bill (Ruth) Rotramel. Ellen had 6 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandaughter all born before her passing. She was preceeded in death by her husband David, a grandson, Casey Rotramel, and a brother, Wilmer Wilson.
