Funeral services for Mollie Frier were held at the Methodist Churh in Alpena with the Rev J. E. Washburn officiating. Interment was in the Eventide Cemetery seven miles southwest of Alpena.
Mollie was born in Germany in 1858 comming to America in 1882, first locating in Iowa. She and her husband came to Dakota in 1897.
Surviving are seven children, Chris of Gladbrook, Ia.; Harry of Lone; Mrs Earl Clouser, of Virgil; and Carl, Arthur, William and Herbert, all of Alpena, and eight grandchildren
