Lawrence Shaffer, 97, Lee's Summit, MO, died Monday, Feb. 28, 2005, at Village Care Center. Mr. Shaffer was born, Oct. 30, 1907, in Caldwell Co., Missouri. He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Shaffer; four brothers, Rayburn, Glenn, Forrest, and Claude Shaffer; two sisters, Gladys Kleeman, and Gail Shaffer. Survivors include his son, his step-sister, a granddaughter, three great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
