She married Matthew McKibben in Dunfermline, Fife in 1892. It is believed Matthew emigrated to Canada in 1902 and Ann followed a year or two later with their children, Charlotte and Hugh.
Ann died as the result of being knocked down by a truck, fracturing her skull and causing a brain hemorrhage.
