Funeral For Carrie Mattson

Funeral services for Mrs. Carrie Mattson, 85, of Uehling will be
held Saturday afternoon at the Congregational Church in Uehling
with Rev. Wm. Albright officiating. Burial will be in the Baptist
cemetery under the direction of Wollmer & Warne Funeral Home. Mrs.
Mattson died suddenly of a heart attack Tuesday at her home. She
was born February 5, 1866, at Hooper, and was the first white child
born in Logan Township. She married John Mattson in 1889 and lived
on a farm northeast of Hooper until 1928 when they moved to
Uehling. Survivors are three daughters, Ruby Connor, Los Angeles,
Calif., Josie and Geneve Mattson at home; two sons, Marvin Mattson
of Hooper and J. F. Mattson of Corona, Calif.; two brothers; Henry
Peterson of Corona and Elmer Peterson of Omaha; three sisters,
Pearl Ann Bennett, Clara Taylor and Lillian Johnson, all of Los
Angeles, five grandchildren. The body will be in state at the
Wollmer & Warne chapel Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.
