On July 27, 1936, Claryce married Ralph Tschetter and the couple lived in Sioux Falls all their married life. Claryce taught second grade and fourth grade at Jefferson Elementary School in Sioux Falls until she retired. Her husband Ralph preceded in death.
In addition to her husband, her parents and two sisters preceded her in death.
Claryce was a member of First Baptist church and was an avid bridge player. Her hobbies were reading, sewing and knitting.
“She was a wonderful mother, staying home and raising her children. Words to describe Mom are loving, caring, always positive, and always smiling. She stressed the good in others, was kind, giving, had countless friends, was morally righteous and loved to play bridge.
The world is a better place because of Mom. They were a perfect couple. We are so thankful to have had them as parents. Mom brought joy to our lives.”
The family of Claryce Tschetter thanks you for your support and presence today. An invitation is extended to join them at the church for refreshments and fellowship following the committal service.
Visitation begins at noon on Wednesday with the family presdent form 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home, 507 S. Main Ave.
