Mrs. Ward died in her home on Linden street, Livonia, November 16, 1950, at the age of 95. She had been the oldest resident of Livonia. Her birthdays were routinely marked with social items in local newspapers. She had been a charter member of the Kanaghsaws chapter of the D.A.R., a member of the Livonia Ladies Literary club, a charter member of the Livonia Congregational church, and a former member of the Eastern Star.
Mr. Ward died in 1924. Surviving Mrs. Ward were a daughter, Irene (Mrs. M. R.) Williams of Livonia, and two sisters, Mrs. Emma G. Allen of Allen’s Hill and Mrs. George P. Reed of Honeoye.
