NEW ORLEANS --- Jean Woodcock Ferrill, 71, died of cancer Friday, March 14, 2003 in New Orleans, Louisiana. In the interest of science, Mrs. Ferrill donated her body to the LSU School of Medicine.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Ferrill; parents, George and Juanita Woodcock; and a brother, John J. Woodcock.
Survivors include her daughter, Cynthia Ferrill and son-in-law, Paul Rooney; granddaughter, Rachel Morgan; and two great-grandchildren, Collin and Caden Morgan, all of New Orleans; four sisters, Joan Lesher, Patricia Weatherford, Betty Koll, all of Gulfport, and Delores Carter of Mobile, Alabama; one brother, George Woodcock of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and friend, Eddie Hicks.
A memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 17, 2003, at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 3521 19th Street, Gulfport, Mississippi.
