Caridad "Baby" Mendoza Afable of Norwalk died Friday, Sept. 5. She was 75. Mrs. Afable was born in Dalaguete, Cebu, Philippines and raised in Tubigon, Bohol, to Jaime and Eugenia Rubi-Mendoza. She worked as a banking accountant/CPA. Mrs. Afable is survived by her sons, Gary Louis Afable (Evelyn Sanchez), Gene Louis Afable (Rosemarie Hernandez) and George Louis Afable; five grandchildren; and brother, “Boots” Mendoza. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Guillermo M. Afable; brother, Ronnie; and sisters, Darling and Linda.
