Annie Morse, 83 of Gaylord passed away Monday April 7 at McReynolds Hall. She was born on February 12, 1931 in Belfast Ireland, the daughter of George and Elizabeth Roddick.


Annie lived in Detroit until 1979 when she moved to San Diego. In 1986 she moved to Palm Harbor before moving to Gaylord six years ago. An adventurist, Annie truly enjoyed traveling with her husband through United Airlines where her husband was employed. She also was very involved with the United Airlines Retirement group until her husband’s passing. Annie loved the outdoors, watching baseball and boating with her family. She was also an avid reader who kept up to date with current events.

She is survived by her daughter, Diane (Mike) Minor; grandchildren, Emily, Allison, Justin and Hayley.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Robert E. Morse.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 1 PM from Nelson Funeral Home where family and friends will be received from 12 noon until the time of service. Interment at Acacia Park Cemetery will be held on Thursday, April 10 at 11:30 AM.
