Comedian born Kenneth Unwin was best remembered for his catchphrase "settle down now". He started his career in working men's clubs as a comedian and ukulele player. His big break came from appearing on the TV series Opportunity Knocks followed by regular appearances on the television show, The Comedians. He was a regular guest on television variety up to 1973. After this his appearances on television dwindled. Ken married his wife, Pat Earith in 1956 she fell ill in 1974 and he abandoned his career to care for her until her death in 1977. He later married a second time to singer and dancer Vicki Lane until his death he died age 78. The funeral service was held at St Hilary's Church in Llanrhos, near Llandudno, before cremation at Colwyn Bay Crematorium.
