Rozalie Rejlek was the daughter of Josef Rejlek and Marie Nowácek. She was born on July 22, 1859 in Libějice 25, Bohemia. She married Vojtech Janda on January 27, 1880. She was his second wife. They had at least two children in Bohemia before they came to the United State. They came on the ship "Bohemia" arriving on May 31, 1884. Rozalie and Vojtech had at least six more children in Chicago. Rozalie was a midwife. Her name shows up on numerous birth certificates and baptismal records in the Chicago area. She died on August 8, 1918. Rozalie was the sister of Marie Rejlek Holub, also buried at St Adalbert Catholic Cemetery in Niles.
