Harold 'Roy Lee' Simmons, of Guyton, GA - Harold 'Roy Lee) Simmons 75, died Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at home. He was born in Emanuel County; however, most of his life was spent in Guyton. He attended school in Effingham County then Joined the U.S. Army were he served in the Korean War. He remained in Guyton until his death . Survivors: his mother, Annie Bell Simmons; two daughters, Tiffany (Ronnie) Beeks and Rosalyn Simmons. Four sisters Evella S. (Carl) Brown, Retha Simmons, Elizabeth King and Willie Mae (Edward) Akins. One Brother Larry (Rose) Simmons. Visitation: 7-8 p.m. Monday at Smalls Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services: 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Macedonia Baptist Church in Guyton GA. There will be no viewing during services. The body will lie in state from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Small Funeral Home, Inc.
