She was about 56 years of age and her death was caused by consumption.
Miss. Andes was a daughter of the late Adam Andes and her family connections in Rockingham are numerous.
She was a member of the United Brethren Church from childhood, and was a lady of high Christian character, active in every benevolent cause and responsive to every demand of charity.
She was held in high esteem in the community in which she lived and in which there will long remain grateful recollections of her unselfish life.
Funeral services were conducted in the church at Lacey Spring by Revs. Ludwig and Berry.
