Mary Kathleen Bailey Thursby, age 90 of Jacksonville, died Friday, Sept. 19, 2014 at Liberty Commons. Ms. Thursby is survived by three sons and their wives, Glen Thursby and wife Wanda of Narragansett, RI., Jerry Thursby and wife Marie of Atlanta, GA., Alan Thursby of Lawrenceville, GA.; a sister, Annie Ruth Exume of Wilson, NC; five grandchildren, Heather, Brandon, Tyler, Mary, James; four great grandchildren, Rachel, Angel, William, Isabella. Visitation will be Monday, Sept. 22, 2014 from 6pm till 8pm at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville. A graveside service will be 11am Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014 at Stantonsburg City Cemetery, Stantonsburg, NC. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Gilbert Earl Thursby; her parents, Robert Henry Cleveland Bailey and Lucy Mae Batts Bailey.
