Hervey Hershey, 24, died at his home in York Springs Feb. 3, from consumption. Five years ago he secured a position with the Westinghouse Electrical Co. of Pittsburg, and two years ago became a victim of the great white plague. He went to the celebrated Sanatorium at Saranac Lake, N.Y., in his fight against the disease, but two weeks ago he became weaker and was taken home. He was a son of Howard H. Hershey of York Springs and was unmarried. The funeral took place on last Wednesday, with interment in German Baptist Cemetery at Latimore.
