Harry Howard Hershey, died in York Springs last Thursday afternoon, May 3, of typhoid fever. He was formerly a clerk in the Drug Store of Dr. Cashman, afterwards in a manufacturing establishment in Pittsburg, was very efficient and had a future full of promise. He was a large, athletic man, but succumbed to the rapid inroads of fever, it's presence not being at first detected. He received the most careful assiduous attention of his physician and trained nurse, after he reached his father's home at York Springs. The funeral was on Saturday afternoon, conducted by Rev. John Deardorff of the German Baptist Church. His parents sustained the loss of a younger son, but three months before.
