12121 NICHOLAS CORSON, JR, born Aug. 6, 1779, seems to have been the only child of Nicholas and Lydia (Ross) Corson.
He married, first, Elizabeth Hewitt, who was born in 1782. The names of their children were given in the John M. Corson manuscript. They are listed as follows:

Elizabeth (Hewitt) Corson died Nov. 28, 1827, and on July 28, 1828, Nicholas married his second wife, Sarah (Somers) Learning, the widow of William Learning and the daughter of Constantine and Sophia Somers. She was born Oct. 11, 1795.
By the second union they had two children:
12121:10: Priscilla Corson, born 1830, married 244124 Henry Corson, the son of Rem and Priscilla Corson;
12121:11:James Corson, born 1830, died Mar. 23,1837.
Sarah (Somers) Corson died July 26, 1866, and is buried in the Cemetery of the First Baptist Church in Cape May Court House, N. J.
Nicholas Corson, II, died Aug. 17, 1851. He and his first wife are buried in Calvary Baptist Cemetery at Ocean View, N. J.
