He was born in Callahan, Florida and had resided in Glen St. Mary, Fla. for 19 years.
He retired from the U.S. Army as SSG E-6 after twenty years of service. He worked at Ray’s Nursery, Sanderson, Fla. for many years and was employed in the Baker County Waste Department at the time of his death. He enjoyed collecting coins, metal horses, automobiles and shooting pool.
He was preceded in death by parents, Thomas and Thelma Louise Braddock Brandies.
He is survived by his wife, Tina E. Brandies of Glen St. Mary, Fla.: One son, Brandon Brandies of Eugene, Oregon: Step-daughter, Christie Passmore of Glen St. Mary, Fla.: One step-son, Howard Rowe of Glen St. Mary, Fla.: Seven grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 P.M. Monday, Sept. 29, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home, Macclenny, Florida. Interment will be in Jones Cemetery, Callahan, Florida.
