Daughter of Johann Biebel and Catharina Spindler Biebel. She married Anton Braun October 9, 1873, in St. Louis, Mo. They moved to Doniphan County, Kansas soon after their marriage where they raised their family and engaged in farming. She was the mother of at least twelve children, most of whom died at a young age. In the 1900 Census, she is shown to have had nine children and only 4 living. Her daughter Katherine McCoy died in 1908. In the 1910 census, she is shown as having had only 8 children and only 3 still living (Andrew, Mame, and Anna).
