Kulpmont Man Dies in Shamokin
Harry Dinklocker, 75, of 922 Spruce Street, Kulpmont, died in his sleep last night in the home of his son and daughter-in-law , Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Dinklocker, 1221 West Independence Street, Shamokin. Death was due to a complication.
Mr. Dinklocker was in ill health for approximately two years. He was discharged last Saturday from Shamokin Hospital, where he was a patient for 19 days.
Born in Hazleton January 11, 1885, Mr. Dinklocker was a son of the late Herman and Elizabeth (Shade) Dinklocker. He lived in Kulpmont for 32 years.
Mr. Dinklocker retired 10 years ago after working 31 years for the Pennsylvania Power & Light Company. He was married February 7, 1914 to the former Ethel Menig, who died January 31, 1955. He attended Hazleton schools and was a member of Kulpmont Methodist church.
Survivors include the following children: Ronald, Lincoln, Neb; Mrs. Hazel Israel, Waterbur, Conn; Eugene, Shamokin, and Mrs. Eleanor Parenteau and Harry, Jr., Waterbury, Conn; 11 grandchildren, four brothers, Calvin, Pine Grove; Herbert and Wilbert, West Hazleton, and Roland, Philadelhia, and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Lamb, West Hazleton; Margaret, Philadelphia, and Mrs. Jack Walbridge, Drexel Hill.
