Ralph Cox was born August 19, 1928 in Oolitic, Indiana, to William E. and Bertha Sasser Cox.
While still a boy, the family moved to the Jenks/Tulsa area. He graduated from Central High School in Tulsa.

Ralph married Callie Adena Miller on March 25, 1948. This union was blessed with three children. Ralph gave his life to the Lord 21 days after his 21st birthday while living in Texas. At a young age, he was called into the ministry. He pastored churches in Semmes, Alabama and Chelsea, Oklahoma before taking the pastorate at the House of Prayer at 66th and Mingo in Tulsa where he pastored for over 33 years. He was the editor of the Holiness Messenger for many years. He was on the Bristow Camp meeting Board and was chairman for the Sapulpa Camp meeting Board for a few years. He also served on the board for Free Gospel Bible Institute from where he was awarded an honorary doctorate.

After resigning as pastor of House of Prayer, Ralph traveled the country preaching the Gospel. In 1992, Callie passed away. In 1993 he married Doreen Luke from St. Augustine, Florida with whom he continued traveling and ministering with until their health no longer allowed.

Ralph was preceded in death by parents William and Bertha Cox, wife Callie Cox, son Stephen Cox, sister Loretta Hale, brothers HC Sasser, Rudolph Cox and son-in-law John Davis.

He was survived by his wife, three daughters, one son, two sons-in-law, one daughter-in-law, three brothers, three granddaughters, two grandsons, eight great grandchildren, one great-great grandson along with a host of nieces, nephews and very close friends.

Visitation will be on August 25, 2014 from Noon to 8:00 pm at Floral Haven Funeral Home Visitation Room. Family will greet on August 25, 2014from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Funeral Service will be on August 26, 2014 at 10:00 am at The House of Prayer, 920 South Lynn Lane Rd Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Great Grandchildren Kama Moore, Katelyn and Kamryn Bucholz, Duke and Brad Weaver, Christopher, Kristina and Emily Buckhalter.
