He was born at Huntingburg Oct. 7, 1947, to Edward “Red” and Gertrude (Reuber) Hoffman. He married his wife on Oct. 12, 1990, in Las Vegas.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Paul, Joe and Glen Hoffman.
Mr. Hoffman worked 37 years for Kimball International and five years at Best Chairs, where he retired as an upholstery supervisor. He was an avid golfer.
The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mary Catholic Church in Huntingburg.
Burial: Church cemetery.
Visitation: Tuesday at Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg. The parish held a rosary prayer service at 3:30 p.m.
