Walter C. Berg 3544 Erie St. Age 73. Passed away Saturday, Nov.16,1974 at St. Luke's Hospital. Mr. Berg was born in Racine on Aug.28,1901 and resided here all his life. He was united in marriage to the former Edith James in Sparta, Wis. on Oct.26,1929. Mr. Berg owned and operated Berg's Texaco Station at Wisconsin and High St's since 1927 last working Nov.15,1974.he was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Surviving are his wife, Edith; three daughter's and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene (Judy) Busarow of Racine, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry (Janet) Burke of Springfield, Virginia, and Mr. and Mrs. Theodore (Jeanne) Christoff of Lagrange Park Ill. five grandchildren; two sisters and brothers-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Victor (Dorothy) Young of Pierre, South Dakota, and Rev. and Mrs. Paul (Helen) Heyn of Moorepark, Cal; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Alvin Berg of Oregon, Wis.; nieces, nephews, and other near relatives. He was preceded in death by an infant son, James Walter Berg in 1930. Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Tuesday, Nov.19, at the Strouf-Sheffield funeral home with the Rev. Armin C.
