Col. Chas. Lynch, Retired Officer U. S. Army, Dies Col. Charles Lynch, 68, retired army officer and possessor of the Distinguished Service Cross, died at a local hospital last night at 10 o'clock.
Colonel Lynch, who retired 12 years ago after 30 years' service, was awarded the cross for hit service in the medical corps during the World war.
He came to this city last February from Washington, D.C, and resided here at 205 Twenty-ninth street north.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Charles R. Lynch, Bowling Green, Va., and a grandson, Charles R. Lynch Jr., of Tucson, Ariz.
