Comedian. Peforming under the names Jimmy Mack and Uncle Jimmy Mack, he was a former cast member of Saturday Night Live. His comedy career began in the Uptown Comedy Club in Harlem, where he met fellow comedian Tracy Morgan. He hosted The Original Uncle Jimmy Mack's Amateur Hour, a fundraising event which featured local comedic talent. During his tenure with Saturday Night Live, he wrote sketches for the show and had written material for Tracy Morgan’s Turn It Funny stand up comedy tour. While touring with Tracy Morgan, the limousine they were traveling in was struck by a tractor trailer on the New Jersey Turnpike. He was killed instantly and three others, including Tracy Morgan, were injured.
