Mrs. Ellen Orr, the widow of John A. Orr, died Saturday night at the City Hospital in Louisville of bronchial pneumonia.
Mrs. Orr was in her eighty eighth year and was born near Alton in Anderson County. For thirty years she resided at Graefenburg, but about a year ago went to Louisville, where she entered the King's Daughters Home. She was an aunt of Judge W. H. Tipton, of this city.
The body was taken to Alton Sunday, where the funeral was conducted Sunday afternoon at three o'clock, with interment in the Alton Cemetery.
Census says she was born in KY and her father was Richard Gaines born in VA and Mother was Malinda Standard b. VA.
