Mrs. Ala Trent dies at home of son
Funeral services for Ala Trent, 78, were held Sunday at the home of a son, Clyde Trent, at Whitco. Burial was in the R. B. Caudill Cemetery, Whitco. The Rev. Robert Wilson conducted the funeral services. Mrs. Trent died August 1 at Whitesburg Memorial Hospital.
She was a daughter of Isom and Rebecca Holland King. Survivors are 6 children, Hager, James, Bob and Clyde Trent, all of Whitesburg; Beatrice Collins and Fannie Caudill, both of Baltimore; 49 grandchildren and 82 great-grandchildren. Craft Funeral Home handled funeral arrangements.
