George Holecek, died Monday August 30, 2010 at Creighton Area Health Services. He was born on May 20, 1935 at Niobrara, Nebraska, the son of Anton and Emma (Benda) Holecek. He worked as a farmer and lived in the Brownsville and Niobrara areas all his life.
He is survived by brothers, Jim of Niobrara, NE, Frank of Creighton, NE, Elmer of Verdigre, NE, Louis of Jackson, MS; sisters, Elsie Olsen of Creighton, NE, Sylvia Slechta of Niobrara, NE; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John and Adolph; and sisters, Helen, Rosemary and Tillie.
