Mr. Holecek was born in Niobrara, Nebraska on August 23, 1916 to Anton Holecek and Emma Benda Holecek. He married Mary Ilene Harris in 1946 in Greenwood, MS. Mr. Holecek worked as a Forman for Misceramic Tile for over 30 years. He served in the Army during WWII. Mr. Holecek was a member of the Yale Street Baptist Church.
He is survived by his son, Joey Holecek (Melissa) of Cleveland, MS; grandchildren, Gary Holecek (Beth) of Cleveland, MS and Emily Holecek of Cleveland, MS; and a host of brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
Mr. Holecek is preceded in death by his parents, Anton and Emma Holecek; and wife, Mary Ilene Harris Holecek.
