She was a graduate of East Tennessee State College. She had taught school for a number of years. Mrs. Lowe retired from Beaunit Fibers. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Elizabethton, where she was active in the nursery department for a number of years. She was a member and former Regent of the Julius Dugger Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was also a member of the Elizabethton Women's Club.
Funeral services were conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in First Baptist Church. Entombment was held in the Mausoleum of Hope, Happy Valley Memorial Park.
