ALLABY (Jewett), Ruth Eileen - 82, Truro, passed away October 30, 2005. Born in Jewett's Mills, York Co., N.B., on February 12, 1923, she was a daughter of the late John Cleveland Jewett and Verna Elizabeth (MacCallum) Jewett. Ruth graduated from Keswick Ridge High School and Chipman Memorial Hospital in St. Stephen, N.B., as a registered nurse. Ruth loved being a nurse, and enjoyed working in various hospitals in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. Ruth was a member of the First Baptist Church in Truro and participated in the Group 1 Women's Group and their activities.
